Drop in during Open Studio hours and choose from a variety of creative projects. Whether you’re painting pottery, making a beaded sun catcher, creating pressed flower art, or trying something completely new, we’ll provide the supplies, instruction, and inspiration.

Choose Your Creative Experience

How Open Studio Works

1. Choose a Project

Browse our current selection of creative experiences and pick the project that inspires you. (Available projects change monthly.)

2. Get Set Up

We’ll provide the materials, tools, instructions, and guidance you need to get started.

3. Create at Your Own Pace

Relax and enjoy the process. Most guests complete their projects within the included 2-hour Studio Fee, but you’re welcome to stay longer if inspiration strikes. Additional studio time is available for $5 per 30 minutes.

4. Take It Home

In most cases you can leave with a handmade project that’s uniquely yours. Some projects may require drying time. If that’s the case, you can usually pick it up the next day.

Creativity Has No Experience Requirement

More Than Just a Paint Studio

Most creative studios focus on a single activity.

At That Art Place, you can explore painting, ceramics, botanical art, beadwork, mixed media projects, seasonal crafts, and more, all in one welcoming space.

With rotating projects and creative experiences, there’s always something new to discover.
