Studio Policies

At That Art Place, our goal is simple: to create a welcoming, creative space where you can relax, make something beautiful, and enjoy the process. To help classes, workshops, and studio experiences run smoothly for everyone, please review the policies below before registering.

Class Registration

Space in classes and workshops is limited, and materials are prepared in advance for each project. For that reason, registration and full payment are required to reserve your spot.

Age Recommendations

Age recommendations and requirements are listed on each individual class or workshop page. Please review those details carefully before registering.

Some classes are designed for teens and adults, while others may be appropriate for younger makers with an accompanying adult. Age recommendations are based on the complexity of the project, tools used, and the pace of instruction.

Refunds, Cancellations & Transfers

Because class materials are purchased and prepared in advance, class and workshop registrations are non-refundable.

If you’re unable to attend, please contact That Art Place as soon as possible. When notice is given at least 48 hours before the scheduled class time, we’re happy to transfer your registration to another class or issue studio credit for a future class or visit.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, as well as no-shows, are not eligible for refunds, studio credit, or transfers.

If That Art Place Needs to Cancel

If That Art Place needs to cancel a class or workshop due to low enrollment, instructor illness, severe weather, or another unforeseen circumstance, you’ll have the option to transfer to another class, receive studio credit, or receive a full refund.

Arriving for Class

Please plan to arrive on time so we can begin class together and make the most of our creative time. Late arrivals may miss important demonstrations or instructions, and depending on the project, it may not be possible to fully complete the piece during the scheduled class time.

Unless otherwise noted, all supplies for classes and workshops are included in the registration fee.

Open Studio & Make-and-Take Projects

Open Studio and Make-and-Take offerings may vary based on season, availability, and what’s currently on the studio menu. Project options, pricing, and age recommendations may differ from scheduled classes and workshops.
