If you’re choosing a Sweatshirt Included option, don’t wait to register! Sweatshirts will be ordered specifically for each participant after registration closes.
In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll create your own fabric appliqué sweatshirt using one of three designs, then finish it with simple hand stitching for a cozy, perfectly-imperfect handmade look.

You’ll choose from our collection of fabrics, cut your appliqué pieces, and iron them onto your sweatshirt. Then we’ll show you how to use simple embroidery stitches around the edges to add texture, detail, and personality.
Never embroidered before? No problem. The stitching is simple, and we’ll walk you through everything you need to know. No sewing or embroidery experience is necessary.
Choose Your Sweatshirt Option
Bring Your Own Sweatshirt – $35
Bring a clean, plain crewneck sweatshirt in the color and size of your choice. We’ll provide everything else you need, including fabric, appliqué materials, embroidery floss, patterns, tools, and instruction.
Sweatshirt Included – S–XL – $50
We’ll provide a Gildan Heavy Blend crewneck sweatshirt in your selected size and color.
Sweatshirt Included – 2XL–3XL – $55
Same great sweatshirt, with extended sizing.
Available sweatshirt colors:
Sand • Forest • Maroon • Dark Heather • Navy
Sweatshirt color and size must be selected when registering.

Sweatshirts are ordered specifically for each participant, so all registrations must be received by Monday, November 2 to give us time to order shirts and have everything ready for class.
If you’re bringing your own sweatshirt, you’ll still need to register by the deadline so we can prepare your pattern and supplies.
All other materials and supplies are included.
No experience necessary. Recommended for ages 14+.
